Professional makeup and photography ensure perfect memories

Rain, rain go away… but when it doesn’t, don’t let it change your plans or your look. While our wet winter weather can make picture perfect makeup a challenge, there are some techniques and products you can use to keep your makeup looking gorgeous – not washed out – in wet weather.

For your face – less is more

More important that is. Use a lighter based foundation  or even omit foundation. The trick to a wet weather base is the application – add thin layers of product until you reach the coverage you’re happy with – do not cake on a thick amount.

Lips

Rely on neutrals – avoid bright colors and high-gloss formulas.

Cheeks

The complex compositions of creams, gels and mousse textures and formulations will resist the humidity and last longer on the skin in wet weather. You can even use lipstick as blush – just spread a bit with your fingers.

Eyes

Choose a more sheer or lighter colored eye makeup and of course waterproof mascara and eyeliner. Avoid using liner or mascara on the lower lashes – no one wants raccoon eyes.
