Community involvement and helping others is a passion of mine. I offer my time, energy and services to select organizations in the community offering a meaningful and positive impact.
I’m a Houston native and single mother of three beautiful children, aged 12 – 21. My two oldest have a rare life threatening blood disease causing bone marrow failure. I am blessed my children have not endured any serious setbacks in their health. After their diagnosis I became an advocate for them and others who are sick with life threatening diseases.
I am involved with a new project called SMYL – “Stylist Making You Lovely.” It’s a non profit organization serving people who’ve endured a life threatening disease. Selected participants are treated to a day full of of styling and a professional photo session. It’s a rewarding experience making others feel good about themselves and being a part of their special memory.
